I'm curious if anyone has ever heard of/tried TRS detox? A friend of mine from an autoimmune board has been raving about it.

"Apparently" it's much safer than chelation, and the reviews on the FB group, which is one of the biggest groups I've seen at 111k members, are quite positive. It's being marketed as a much smaller, more mobile zeolite that is systemic, unlike others such as clay, which sits in the intestines.

Is this one of those "if it sounds too good to be true" type situations?

bumping this thing. I spent about an hour on the facebook group, and i cant decide if this is just an amazing product, or the most elaborate hoax in all of mass marketing of all time. Anyone look at this?

I guess the active ingredient is clinoptilolite, which is the same stuff in Dr Ks Zeobind. Another user said he liked it, and seems to get good reviews else where. I spent a while contacting people on the FB group who used it, and most people seemed to really like it. Just go slow was the refrain.

dcd2103 - Did you ever use this? One of my friends just texted me and was raving about it and was certain that it would help me with my remaining symptoms, but like you said, not sure if it's a haox. Almost feels like a Pyramid Scheme type of a thing.

Funny you ask, i started 4 days ago after my friend urged me again to try it. So far cant tell, i'm only on 1 spray, they recommend 5, starting slow.

But the main ingredient cliniptilolite is apparently legitimate binder w/ a lot of health properties. Have read a few papers on it.

I have been on it for a month. It really is doing something. But, as usual, I went all Rambo and completely overdid it (15 sprays a day). I am now dealing with some horrible detox symptoms but am still better than I have been for years. I am also taking powdered zeolite (target intestines) and diatomaceous earth. Will report back after two months.

How does this compare to ACZ Nano Zeolite spray?

Yeah. I found one site where the author is telling a miraculous story and has a link for you to buy from her and says she became a “distributor.” Does sound like a multi-level marketing thing.

TRS is def multi-level marketing. The FB group mods tell you they get a commission on what they sell. That being said, the active ingredient chiliptilolite is in a few other products like ZeoBind, so I don’t think it’s a fake product. The few papers I’ve read were encouraging. Plus my friend loves it.

How many sprays were you on initially before going Rambo (lol) and what did ya notice it was helping?

I started out on 5 sprays. Not backing off the 15...but it is hitting me hard. Definitely not a scam. They are a multi-level marketing scheme and have always been upfront about that. I find that it has really given me a great deal more focus and energy...cleared the brain fog....and for the first time in years I'm feeling optimistic about getting well. Full disclosure: started diatomaceous earth at beginning of December and powdered clinoptilolite in the middle of January. Was so impressed by results I went onto the TRS about 3 weeks ago and now take all 3, and all have played their part. I still take herbals but these three have taken my healing to the next level. The TRS hasn't got lost in the mix either--I can tell that it's effect is additive and that it is powerful.

Update: Ive been having burning neuropathy since starting TRS. At first I thought it might be from a slice of cheesecake I had 5 days ago. I felt better the next morning, but then it returned. I am now wondering if its from the TRS. If it's from the TRS, it would make me inclinded to believe that the TRS is actually doing something. But I cant be sure what's doing it at this point.

BUT...I also developed 2 cystic acne on my chin. A couple times I sprayed the TRS some of it got on my chin. I DO NOT get cystic acne or really much acne at all esp since starting keto, so for this to happen is quite telling. The TRS definitely pulled some toxins through my skin.

EDIT: Spreaking w/ my friend who recommended it, she said she felt may have felt an increase in neuropathy at first and sores in her mouth, and she said that her daughter initially got acne, and it eventually all cleared up and they were better than ever

dcd,

I saw one blogger talk about her use of TRS. It caused eczema and rashes in her. She assumed it was from toxins exiting the skin. For some reason, it didn’t seem to occur to her that she could be having a reaction to the product. She quit using it.

I enjoy reading your experimentation, and want nothing more then for you to feel better. But please be careful using all these "detox" items. Symptoms are up and down its so hard to get a feel for some chemical and what it is doing reading reviews online from others who want nothing more then to feel better. Dont take this as criticism its not I too have done things I consider experimenting.

I hear ya. But I feel like everything is an experiment, dont see how this is that much different than anything most people in this group do?

That being said, much like everything in the lyme/autoimmune world, everything has a detox or herx side effect...and if this is what flared my neuropathy I'm not gonna gamble. Sucks to keep trying things and backing down as soon as I get a flare though.

It helps pull heavy metals. I work with a few suppliers and its actually used in Cattle feed so most big suppliers that sell anywhere from 200-1000 tons of it monthly will not sell to average consumers even though they are FDA registered. If you can find a good supplier who will sell small quantities to you, you wont have to pay the crazy fees others are asking.

I've decided that it's not worth the risk. My neuropathy def got worse while i was on it.

Some other people had good advice, dont poke the bear...after thinking about it I think theyre right. If i could be certain that it would get better after it gets worse, i'd power thru, but there's not enough information
