I have Angina , heart palpations and basically every heart issue in Lyme, this organ of mine is very susceptible since I’m under a lot of stress so I understand how all these co infections and Lyme would be affecting this organ the most, I haven’t found mcuh relief with
Magnesium
L - Carnintine
Coq10
Hawthorn
Motherwort
Red sage ( I got some relief but not all of it )
Taurine
Liden
Cayenne

So I’m wondering what else is out there ? Buhner only recommends these and Khella ( which is impossible to find , so have no clue where to obtain it ) and Mimosa pudica which I’ve ordered and am waiting for it, I’m wondering if anyone has found any relief with other herbal medicines , amino acids or vitamins?

And I take infused nettle leaf, it also helped a bit like red sage but not all of it.

that's a pretty good list -
of those i think the Hawthorn and CoQ10 have helped my palpitations the most

if you have exhausted all the reasonable herbal / supplement approaches
is there anything you can do to manage your stress levels more - as I'm pretty sure no herb will solve it if your stress is sky-high?

the words "stress management" are easy to say - but this belies the reality that when you are stressed it's actually the hardest thing to do. To actually stop doing things the way you are doing them and force yourself to do it differently, or do new things that you don't feel like doing at all. so i don't say this lightly - but often it is necessary.

Skeletonflower, I'm curious which heart issues you have. Lyme carditis can be life-threatening, as can valve infections, but I assume if you had those, then you would have listed them before angina and palpitations. Do you have a cardiologist monitoring you? Have you had an echocardiogram or other cardiac tests?

How about at-home devices to check out your stats each day? I have found it reassuring to have a pulse oximeter, handheld ECG device, and BP cuff. I have an arrhythmia, POTS, and chest pain (probably costochondritis, but still unsettling when it coincides with heartbeat weirdness). My little coterie of devices helps to ease my mind that I am not in any danger.

It sounds like you have tried a lot of good supplements for heart health. I agree with Garzie's recommendation to look into ways to process stress, as well as the acknowledgement that it's easier said than done! Stress directly influences our nervous systems, which dysregulates heart rate, digestion, balance, hormones, immunity. and everything else! Because it's so difficult to address, many of us address it last, when really it should be addressed first. Maybe some quick practices that help the nervous system, like yoga, tapping, or a guided meditation recording? I'm happy to send you links for all of those, if that would be helpful.

I saw my cardiologist recently, and she said that nearly all of the practice's new patients were there because of stress-related arrhythmias. Stress is no joke! And the collective stress right now - with the pandemic and politics - is off the charts. Add in chronic illness, and we're in a very hard situation!

Hi again. In a previous post you mentioned that a doctor was having you come in for an echocardiogram, and another post mentioned a pap test, if I am remembering right? So I assumed you saw some sort of doctor or doctors, and that you just didn't have an LLMD. I definitely understand being wary of medical appointments after bad experiences, as well as simply not being able to afford care. Should we assume going forward that you will not be accessing any formal medical care, and just focus on things you can try at home?

Amazon carries khella in the Herb Pharm liquid extract. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=khella&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Yes and my results are in January 18th but I can not wait that long since my heart issues are worsening and they likely won’t do anything and if they found something I’d get in earlier but I think it’s angina and Lyme cariditis or something. Heart pain is going to my back and feels like oxygen related . I don’t know what to do because I’m broke as well. Not sure what to do. Heart palpations all over my body I can feel my heart beat and now this pain in my chest going to my back as well and my chest is tender and hurts so I know it has to do with muscles in my heart as well. Everything hurts . Two issues I still have - severe heart issues and stomach issues .

So you have an appt. on Jan 18th? That's just 3 days away. Can you go to emergency if you can't - or don't want to wait - or does that cost you? (I'm in Canada, our health care is different here)

"the words "stress management" are easy to say - but this belies the reality that when you are stressed it's actually the hardest thing to do."

- exactly. Fortunately stress gets better as your hope gets better. Your hope gets better as you start to heal. So it takes a while.

I had minimal heart issues, mostly bad palps, which are completely gone. High BP too when lyme was raging, now its way better on its own. I now only take 1/3 the BP med I still needed three years ago. Mid fifties, obviously not a kid, but still in decent physical condition (like a shiny but high mile older car lol).

A big part of the stress is if your unable to work or have major work handicaps from this and are thus...."broke" with a grim outlook (been there).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those not bedridden........ changing to a job that fits better with flexability is a huge deal.

This is easier for some than others. Some can work up to this point in time. A "side gig" is also a great thing to have and its all under YOUR control. What can one do one their own?

What do other people say your good at???? - a good place to start.
