Has anyone ever used an earthing sheet? I used one for the first time last night and I’ve been herxing all day (flu like reaction)

I have an earthing mat that I used for 6-8 hours a day for several weeks. It did absolutely nothing for me.

If anyone with expertise on this subject can tell us if there are any proven and/or trustworthy brands of earthing products, would be greatly appreciated.

I might be interested in trying something, but with so many options out there and it being a trendy sort of thing, I have no idea if anything is legit or if it’s all snake oil.

I use an earthing mat now and then but only for a short time, about 10-20 min as it increases detox and symptoms for me. I would use it more often if I didn’t have to perform almost every day. I get the same from earthing outside, but I can be longer barefoot outside compared to my mat. I have forgotten a bit about it lately, but I will use it again this week. My guess is that my liver is flooded with toxins and earthing helps to detox that.
I think you should start with just doing for a short while.

When I used it more I had a whole week without waking up at night to go to the bathroom, where I normally wake up once per night.
I look forward to sitting outside in the spring and do eathing and having a cup of coffe 😊

In the FAQ of that link, it says:

“What happens if the earthing product is not grounded (correctly) ?

Because of the conductive properties of the earthing product it will absorb the electric voltage from the environment without being able to discharge. This means your bodyvoltage will rise in stead of drop. This is not desired. It is therefore important to check if the product is connected correctly and not to use the product if it's not connected.”

- I wonder if this could be the issue in some users who experience worsened symptoms from it.

I an not an electrician, but I wonder if the hole in the outlet that is supposed to be grounded actually is. How is this hole grounded? Does it depend on when or how the house was built? Are outlets that have this hole definitely grounded? Is there an affordable instrument that can test an outlet to confirm whether or not it’s grounded?

I used this https://www.earthconnection.eu/socket-tester-(type-e-f) + a gadget that measured dirty electricity. I only use the mat when my desktop computer is off after noticing that the dirty electricity increased when it was on.
