I have right calves that hurt when I move now, I am wondering if this could be a sign of deficiency or if it’s my veins or something. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this a recent problem? If the pain is worse when you flex your foot (like when you walk or point your toes up toward your knee) then you might need an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot.

If it's a muscle cramp, then try some of Astroman's techniques, and make sure you are getting enough magnesium, calcium, and hydration to prevent muscle cramps.

Hope it resolves soon!

Yes I’ve had this its not totally uncommon. Almost my whole body was in Varying degrees of pain and or tension.

Your other thread mentioned your pain in your "but" well, there is probably some commonality between these two.

Just because pain comes and goes does not mean it’s a Nuero symptom in your head. It could be but it’s pretty hard to prove/ know for sure.

*****One other thing about Calves though, Is if they actually get hard and slightly expand, that can be a clotting problem, I have experience with this as well. This is not good and needs a Drs (in my case ER) attention. *****

These infections can cause slight nerve dysfunction from inside the nerve itself or even from muscle tissue compression surrounding the nerve. And this can change daily.

When this happens to specific area or even your whole body it tends to feel like you are lacking circulation. Tight muscle tissue does create a lack of circulation. And ill functioning nerves can create tight muscle tissue. Tight tissue equals lack of nutrients getting into the cells so this creates an evil circle that for sometime gets worse.

I’ve tried many natural supplements for muscles and nerves they were all disappointing. Magnesium Glycinate, Is one of the most efficient magnesium salts for the electrolysis process in the muscle tissue cells, Most people take it at night because it also makes you sleepy.

What does help is manual tissue release which i somewhat explained in the other post. This is usually not the answer people want to hear however it is something that works.

I know there are prescription drugs for nerve pain that some have have used here they really just cover up the pain though. DCD knows something about neuropathy and what few options there are in the form of drugs to treat it. That is more of a tingling or shock feel though and can also be caused by compression further up the nerve, which in that case tissue release will help.

LLMD’s Recognize this, but don’t know much treating it,and simply tell you to wait it out while you’re being treated for the infection or go to PT. Conventional medicine doesn’t seem to understand the fact that these infections do what I mentioned they do above, the information available is very limited. Obviously these two sides of medicine don’t see Eye to eye on things , if they came together maybe they could solve this.

Studded foam fitness rollers massage tissue, move trapped fluid which allows healing and tissue detox. The shorter ones are fine, note how hes using it on his legs. A lacross ball works better on glutes though, deeper.

I had tightness and cramping in my calves when I was at my worst. This was just before I saw a chiropractor who did functional medicine and tried to help me. Then I went to a Functional MD who diagnosed me with CIRS from mold. Once I got out of the moldy house and office building, the calf pain resolved. I don’t recall having it again. I started a magnesium supplement, but it didn’t stop the leg issue. That resolved on its own somehow. That’s probably not much help to you. Sorry.
