It’s been said many times the body wants to heal itself.
Well yes it does but sometimes it’s not possible with some sort of sort of outside intervention .
My theory is similar to the garden hose theory , if somethings been stuck in position for a long time or even some sort of internal body cycle , it has a pretty tough time correcting itself.
When lyme hit me hard in the early 90s I had major neck issues, it would just lock up sometimes. all though standard chiropractic helped it , I still limped, so It didn’t completely correct the problem which was the neck or actually very top vertebrae causing more problems below it. Hopefully this is the answer and it will last.
Some more neck history : After I finished Lyme antibiotics in 2016 my grinding neck did stop grinding and having that gravel sound when I moved it , but I would still get tension occasionally on one side and you could visually see I was not holding my head straight on my shoulders because I couldn’t .
I went for a short hike sunday, my hips feel good / improved,..., And no limping days after.
..... but I did get shin splints - prob a symptom from the massive inflammation I got from the mod vax #2 (my locked thread), which really tightened up all of my muscles for a few weeks.
Early this evening my shin splints are already improving. I got shin splints several times with lyme and it lasted about
a month, that was pretty crazy.
