Has anyone ever had a phone consult with Dr. Zhang in NYC?

I reached out and they said the first consult is $150 and then any future consults would be free.

I've heard that it's not all that helpful and that he basically just tells you to take certain meds, but wondering if anyone else has had good experiences (or bad).

No experience with him, but he is a herb and essential oils guy right?

Probably be cheaper to look at his studies and organize a plan from there.

I suspect the reason there is a charge for this consult is because unless you are a patient of his, he is not able to say "if you have Borrelia, buy this. If you have Babesia, buy this."

Traditional Chinese medicine is a holistic practice - herbs, food, chi, acupuncture, etc. - designed to work all together, not as separate pieces. Obviously all this isn't possible over the phone, but I would pay for the actual consult, since every patient is approached differently. There's no Western-style one-size-fits-all protocol in TCM.

If you decide to do this, let us know how it goes. I know you’ve had a hard time getting to remission and have tried a lot of things. Might be helpful to get a different perspective like Dr. Zhang. I’m rooting for you!
