Thought I’d give another update. My 1st week of Ivermectin I dosed on Saturday and Monday.
Second week, I took it on Saturday and Tuesday, as I got super sick on Monday morning (migraine, nausea, vomiting). On Sunday, I had taken an extra 1/2 dose of Zyrtec because I had a raging heat rash and had forgotten to take the Zyrtec the night before. On Monday morning, I woke up with my head feeling dried out and headache-ish. Once I got up, I started quickly getting one of the worst migraines I have ever had. I took a migraine pill and vomited an hour later and felt much better after that. I don’t think the Ivermectin had anything to do with all that. I felt like it was from the overdose of antihistamine the day before.
Third week, my doctor switched me from Fluconazole to Voriconazole and I told her about my Ivermectin schedule. She said to skip a day between the two drugs. I take the antifungal on Fri, Sat, Sun. She suggested taking Ivermectin on Tuesday only, so I started once a week. I actually took the Ivermectin on Monday instead of Tuesday, because I had my days mixed up.😔
I feel like I have tolerated the Ivermectin extremely well. No side effects at all to speak of. Frankly, I am disappointed. Because I have ropeworm and long term gut issues, I expected Ivermectin to do something to my gut, if it didn’t wallop me.
I did remember to look at my pupils once or twice, and they were as normal as they usually are.
I thought it was important for me to say all that, as I was one who raised concerns about crossing the bbb, and I used to be pretty sensitive to stuff. I am really surprised by how uneventful my Ivermectin experience has been thus far. Of course, taking it a couple times a week is a far cry from the Klinghardt parasite protocol, which I haven’t done.
