I'm assuming you have tried every other possible treatment for MCAS? Cromolyn, ketotifen, khella, DNRS, DAO, stinging nettles, quercetin, curcumin, strict low-histamine diet (including supplements), all of the H1 blockers and H2 blockers, removing all possible triggers, addressed mold exposure, etc.?
I definitely understand that at some point you have to try something when nothing has worked, as MCAS can be miserable, but I also understand wanting to steer clear of meds that act directly on neurotransmitters. Hope it helps!
