Fascinating video about
a guy who had great results w/ a 21 day fast for neuro lyme and healed a lot of symptoms with it. The video discusses his results 2m post, and I'd be curious for an update, but the improvements in his symptoms and quality of life were pretty impressive.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh3qhcjpip0
Based on my conversations recently with Garzie about
how chronic inflammation and autonomic stress seem to be playing a huge role in PTLD, and with running wild and a few others wrt to how these gut issues play into that inflammation and sickness, I thought that I would highlight this, as it could potentially be just the ticket to address some of those things.
As mentioned, I'm currently caught in a loop of both GI distress and neurological inflammation. My diet has been poor since coming off keto, and stress levels are high as a result.
Maybe I came across this 21 day fast at the exact opportune time. I had been planning on restarting keto to get my inflammation in check, but I've done that before and wasnt looking forward to it again. I was feeling its time for a "bigger gun", a different approach, and then this video falls into my lap.
Could be the perfect way to reset the system and shake some of this neuro-inflammation that has taken hold.
I am going to research how to do this safely, and probably give it a shot. I have some experience with fasting/ketosis as I spent 6m on <15g carbs/day, have done a 5 day fast, several 3 day fasts, and maybe twenty 24-36hr fasts. So I dont think its a stretch to jump right to an extended fast, once I do my research.
Another thing that he mentions is how he believes everyone
w/ lyme is battling parasites, and this is a great way to shed a few of those, as well as heal leaky gut and the microbiome. We shall see....
