What's the current treatment to prevent Lyme? Someone I know went to a area where Lyme is prevalent and came back with three tick bites. She was there three days so ticks could have been on her for three days. Or less. Don't know.
One month 2 x 100 mg doxycycline / day? Any links to research backing this up so we can convince the doctor?
Know any labo in Europe that can examine the ticks?

4-6 weeks of antibiotics.
Here's evidence for your doctor:

Just to add to my own post, I would go as far as taking antibiotics for 2 months.
But that's just because I would never risk chronic Lyme knowing all the hell it causes now that I have it.

Also add 3000mg of Astragalus Root per day per Buhner protocol. 400mg Doxy is the minimum and it doesn't hit co's

200 mg twice daily (not 100mg).
Check if Armin Labs tests ticks
Igenex tests them - send them there?

Are there more recent guidelines? ILADS is from 2014, we have learned so much since then.
Edit:
Good idea, Girlie. I'll check Armin labs.
