I thought it would be interesting to list the supplements and herbs we have used into 3 categories:

1. Positive.
2. Neutral / Not sure.
3. Negative.

I think it will be very different for everyone, so it might be helpful to, at a minimum, explain what made something positive.

I'll start:

(just to clarify, I'm not taking all of these, it's just what worked/didn't over the past years)

Positive

TUDCA: Really helps me detox and my liver. Takes the load off during herxes.
Lumbrokinase: Helps break down biofilm/ plaques and nests. Causes big herxes for me, so have to take it slow.
Quercetin: Really helps during inflammation/herx when taken with Boswellia.
Boswellia: See quercetin.
Magnesium: At the ER they told me it was low and I feel a bit better after supplementing it.
Probiotics: Only 2 brands worked for me. They aren't really amazing but they do help a bit with stomach issues sometimes.
Zinc: Seems to keep my immune system in semi-shape lol.
Vitamin D: Same as zinc. Also to be prepared for covid, just like Zinc. I might have already had covid though.
Vitamin C: Same as zinc. And it also helps with herxes.
Pycnogenol: Helped with focus, but only after taking it for a month straight, really has to build up and it's expensive.
Boron: Can't really explain how but feels like it helps.
Lutein: Helped my blurry eyes during disulfiram treatment.
Japanese Knotweed: Made me herx a little bit.
Houttyunia: Made me herx a little bit.
Sida acuta: Made me herx a little bit.
L-theanine: Makes me sleepy.
Melatonin: Makes me sleepy. Helps with disufiram night terrors.

Neutral / Not sure

B-complex
Lipo Curcumin
Lipo Glutathione
Calcium
Collagen
Almost every type of Ginseng
Eleuthero (didn't take long enough)
CoQ10
L-Arginine
L-Citruline
Milk thistle

Negative:

Ashwagandha
Beta-Alanine
Fish Oil
Omega 3/6/9
Glucosamine
Vitamin E
Oregano oil (stomach pain)

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot, but I guess it's a start.
Let's hear yours!

Hi Rainycloud, good post!

Positive:

Vitamin C: Naturalife (Vitamin C 1,700 MG with Vitamin D3, Zinc, Elderberry, Ginger Root - Maximum Strength Multi System Immune Support- 100 Veggie Capsules)

Fish Oil: Omega-3 Fish Oil from Wild Alaska Pollock (1250mg per Capsule) with Triglyceride EPA & DHA | Heart, Brain & Joint Support | IFOS 5 Star Certified, Non-GMO & Gluten Free (90 Softgels)

I used to suffer from back pain (probably from aging and lifting heavy items). Since taking this brand of fish oil I no longer suffer from back pain

Magnesium Citrate: Premium Magnesium Citrate Capsules – Powerful 500mg Magnesium Oxide & Citrate Supplement – Helps Support Healthy Bones, Muscles, Teeth, Energy & Relaxation – 120 Vegetable Capsules

Vibrant Health, Green Vibrance, Vegan Superfood Powder (expensive but lasts me a couple of months). Makes me feel really good and I think I may be getting nutrients that I'm not getting from food.

Neutral / Not Sure:

Calcium (New Chapter Calcium Supplement– Bone Strength Whole Food Organic Calcium with Vitamin K2 + D3 + Magnesium, Vegetarian, Gluten Free - 120 count (Note: I stopped taking this after taking the Fish Oil above).

Negative:

I can't think of anything negative at the moment. I did throw out many supplements I had that I stopped using over a month ago. If I'm not taking it then I hate cluttering up my cabinet.

That's basically all the supplements I am currently taking or have tried.

Thank you so much Denise!
Your list is really insightful. I think I got some ideas from it.
I'm glad you didn't have many negative experiences.
For me, most of the negative ones seemed to have given me an increase in anxiety. I'm not sure why. Especially the fish based ones.

You're welcome RainyCloud! Is it possible the brand of fish oil capsules make a difference? This is the first fish oil capsules I have been taking and they really agree with me. I think the fish has to be wild caught.

We had a member many years ago who starting drinking the Vibrant Greens (warning: it tastes horrible, almost like freshly mowed grass though I never drank mowed grass but that's as close to a description I can think of) and that member became so much better after drinking it for a couple of months. I can't say enough good things about that product.

Thank you again Denise !!
That's an interesting idea, to try a different brand.
I've also noticed it happens sometimes with eating fish, but then it doesn't happen always.
So it makes a lot of sense to me what you're saying.
I just avoid eating fish nowadays for that reason, but I could really give a different fish oil a try one day.
You made me laugh when you said "I never drank mowed grass but" haha
