I had sore tendons in my arms early on.
And then one morning I woke up and I couldn’t raise my right arm - the pain was excruciating.
Went to my regular dr and she said it was tendonitis
It took over a week for it to heal.
my partner had this - first 1 arm then the other -around 4 weeks later - couldn't lift her arm at all
it was radiculitis - nerves not tendons - lyme or bart was the cause - hallmark symptom of lyme - see Bannwarth's syndrome
she had detailed CAT scan done - no inflammation on the tendons anywhere - said she had the shoulder of a 20yr old - but the CAT scan cant see nerves in enough detail
latest research on bart does show it infects deep into the connective tissues - including the tendons and ligaments can even cause an acquired hyper flexibility ED syndrome/////////////////////////////////
Interesting. I had radiculitis - as my first symptom in 2013 - woke up with nerve pain - left shoulder blade, left arm and hand . My index finger was numb.
Then symptom after symptom after symptom for the next several months -
My left shoulder blade /arm and hand are much better but not completely - maybe first symptom will be last to leave. Or I will permanently have a slightly numb finger.
The pain was different when I had the tendonitis - it wasn’t the burning nerve pain.
