I want to thank Garzie very much for pointing this out to me.
So I have this strange thing where I have these, what feel like marbles under my skin.
They are hard and come in rows but not always rows.
Some of them hurt when I press them.
There are a lot of them and they are:
- Inner thighs, all the way halfway down.
- Under my armpit on some on my bicep.
- On both sides of my stomach.
- Groin area.
I always dismissed them because some of these places correlate with swollen lymph nodes.
However, as I noticed in the picture Garzie showed me and pointed out, there aren't supposed to be lymph nodes halfway down my inner thigh and bicep.
I did a lot of searching and finally found something similar on a different forum:https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10138127/fat-balls-marbles-under-skin-after-weight-loss
Where I found this comment on page 6 of that thread:
"Hey everyone if you have lipomas that are causing you alot of grief, look into dercum's disease or adiposis dolorosa. Hope this helps"
So I looked up Dercum's disease and it says:
"Dercum’s disease is a rare disorder characterized by multiple, painful growths of fatty tissue (lipomas). "
But here's the interesting part about
Dercum’s disease on Lyme Disease:and some cases have been linked to infection including Lyme disease or Valley fever (coccidioidomycosis).
So I'm not sure what to do now.
Should I see a doctor? I hate how it says Rare Disease, that's not what I needed right now.
