I finally got my migraines under control with Keppra, Lyrica and ridlin, and found out I am 6 weeks pregnant.  Now I don't know what to do... I can't take any medicine.  Anyone with any suggestions?

Hi Tracy,

You need to go back to you Neuro about this to check out what you can have if anything. The good news is that a lot of sufferers become attack free during pregnancy!!! I had a couple of mild attacks at the beginning of my pregnancy and then absolutely nothing till my son was about a month old!!!!!

Your Neuro should be the one to find a way forward whilst you are pregnant!

take care

Thanks Ann,
Unfortunatly he was the first one I contacted and basically said there was nothing proven out there that would not cause birth defects and he would not recommend me taking anything in case I had a child with a problem and he was afraid of malpractice....
He did say that I could take tylenol with codeine, but with my history, that is like putting a band aid on an amputation if you know what I mean!
I do hope that they decrease though because the next 8 months will be unbearable if not.
