I am a new member here, and suffer from chronic migraines. I have migraine at least 4 days out of every week for the last 16 years. They have done every type of test and scan available and can find no physiological reason for my headaches. Lately they have been getting much worse, affecting my vision, speech, balance, and causing vomiting. I have tried numerous medications, both treatment and preventative. Recently I decided to research some things online and found a website that claims they have glasses that will prevent or take migraines away all-together. After reading their reports and studies, I decided to try them. THEY WORK REALLY WELL!! While they do not prevent all migraines, they do prevent most of them and they also take away that blinding eye pain almost as soon as I put them on. They are tinted a dark green and I wear them most of the time. They block the red and blue rays of light (which are the causes of most migraines according to their studies) indoors, outdoors, and from overhead lights and computers. They cost about $120.00 US, and so far I think they were worth every penny. They also offer a 28 day money back guarantee so there isn't much risk in getting some. It has been about 2 weeks, and I have only had one VERY SLIGHT headache. These have been working so well for me that I just HAD to share the news with other migraine sufferers. I have only found one place to buy them.
These particular glasses are called migralens, and I hope they work as well for any of you who decide to give them a chance as they have for me! Good luck to all.
Whilst I am pleased that you have found something to help your migraines, I would refer you to the Forum rules.  Ann

you did not sign with a name so I will call you (hope) my son suffers a constant migraine since dec.1999 following a surgery. he is disabled for the past 4 years and spends his life in bed with sunglasses on even indoors. I went to the site but did not see any testimonials for migraine suffers, is there any thing else you can tell me about your expierence.mommb

Hi mommb,

Sorry I didn't sign off with a name, I am new to all of this and was just so excited to tell people about these glasses. You can call me cin71. I originally went on google and typed in glasses for migraine sufferers. Here is one of the links I found that intrigued me in the beginning.

I did end up reading more study results, and was really encouraged by them. Eventually I found the mediview site and mulled it over a while longer. I am sure that if you do a little research on google, you will find the information as encouraging as I did. Plus, once I saw that they did a 4 week money back guarantee, I figured I had nothing to lose. For the last 16 years, nothing else has worked for me, I have tried diet changes, herbal remedies, prescription drugs, preventative drugs, etc. I have had my vision tested and even tried wearing regular glasses for a while hoping that would make some difference, even though I don't really need them. I can honestly say that it is the best decision I have ever made in regards to my headaches. As a matter of fact this morning I woke up with that nagging feeling in my eye that is always a warning of impending migraine, I put my glasses on immediately and less than an hour later, I HAVE NO PAIN IN MY EYE!! Now, these are not supposed to prevent ALL headaches but they are supposed to reduce the severity and frequency of them. And after the last couple of weeks, I can honestly say that they work for me!! I have not gone more than 4 days without a severe migraine for 16 years. Sometimes they even last 8 or 9 days, so for me this has been a miracle fix so far!! I wish you luck with helping your son and I am thinking about getting some for my son as well because he has had a couple of severe headaches already and he is only 11. Please keep me posted on how they work for him if you decide to try them. If I can be of any more help don't hesitate to ask. -cin71

I have edited your post to remove the link to the study and would again refer you to the Forum Rules!! Ann
