Well, I've had a killer headache, for the past 5 days, I've tried taking Tylenol Extra Strength, and Advil Extra Strength...Although it's still there, it stops me from being able to sleep at night, and unlike most common headaches, this one is EXTREMELY painful, and hurts a great ordeal. for example, where ever I go lower than my normal height, It feels like my head is being stabbed.. it's mostly located on the middle*it does go to the front, and back though* even if I shake my head, it hurts plenty. Is there any recommendations for this, I have no family doctor, so I cannot go and see a doctor. and I work , so I don't have time for a hospital visit.

I would try some Excedrin Migraine or Extra strength Excedrin and drink some caffeine
then go into a dark room and either lay down or sit up (comfortably in a chair). Make sure you are comfortable, no restricting clothing.
try to take your mind off of it for this period of time, i know its hard but try to think of something relaxing to you... laying on the beach or something like that

Thanks for that, Unfourtunatley I've already tried that, but it took me a long time to "officially" try it, and sadly it hasn't worked =(

I know you said you dont have a doctor but there are clinics that will see you w/o insurance. I would try to get to one of those. If anything they might be able to prescribe something that will work since OTCs aren't and they'll also be able to rule out something more serious.

Have you tried any sinus medications? Sometimes when I get a horrible headache for several days and my migraine meds aren't working or anything else, I've noticed that using my OTC nasal spray afrin or sinus meds or most of the time a combination of both do the trick. I have sinus issues as well, nothing the dr's can do about it so I just deal with it and sometimes it's my sinuses and not an actual headache.

If you are able to see a Doctor you could talk to them about a short course of steroids just to give you a pain break, and it could also break the cycle for you!

take care
