My current nurologist gave up and sent me to a headache specialist in Dallas. She the told me that he is doing everything that she would do and pain managment might be the best next step. At this point that sounds good to me, just the idea of not dealing with the massive pain all day everyday.
also after seeing the list of RX, I wonder if I am taking too much
ambien 10mg
nadolol 40mg
lyrica 100mg 3xday
nortriptylin 100mg
dhe 45 1ml injection w/ 10mg of compazine several a week
imitrex 6ml injections several a week
namenda 20mg
chlorpromazine 50mg
stadol nasal spray and hydrocodone for pain, but they don't make it go away just ease it a bit.

Hi, I noticed you are taking ambien.  I have recently discovered when I stopped taking this med, my 15-month migraine slowly disappeared.  I went through all of the meds and neurologists like you.  Nothing helped until I stopped the ambien.  It is difficult, but believe me, so very worth it.  Good luck!
