Hi Lynne
I havn't heard of the particular migraine medication that you are taking... might take time
I'm on Amitripline... and it does help

Hope you find answers here, and welcome to the Forum

Hi Lynne, I'm not a Dr., but honestly, I've never heard of lab tests that can diagnose migraines, so that surprises me a little. The medication you're taking, acetazolamide, is used for a variety of disorders, but its used for glaucoma, seizures, altitude sickness and some other things...don't freak on this this, many seizure meds are used for migraines, but this is not one that I've familiar with at all. Some quick research on this found that this med is used for your cerebellar ataxia and it may be this that's causing the migraine symptoms.
Good luck!
