My daughter has suffered from cluster migraines since she was 13 years old. She will be 17 this summer. We have been through doctors and tests of all sorts. Medication doesn't work. She suffers so much that going to school is useless because she misses so much. She has to come home half-way through the day or can't go at all. She has difficulty participating in anything because of the pain. It's a struggle, but she has learned to cope with the days the pain isn't as intense so she can have some sort of a normal life. However, we've had to paint her room dark blue, even the ceiling, and put opaque blinds on her windows to create the darkness she needs when headaches are full-blown. Now she's been diagnosed with sleep apnia and is on a CPAP machine at night to help her get the breath/air she needs so she can get a sound sleep. We won't know for awhile if this will help. Does anyone have any suggestions for ridding her of this nightmare?
