Hi  I started having "headaches" ie: Migranes/sinus headaches"  about a year ago.  I thought or still think they have something to do with the meds I take.  I have tried Imitex and it didn't help.  Now I take Frova, which helped at first but now it does nothing.  When all this started I was having the headaches about once a montn; and I'm talking BAD headaches enough to be hospitalized once.  Now, I'm having them about once a week.  I am so frustrated.  But, here's where I would like some input; I have frequent Sinus Infections aparently a side effect of Remicaide (an infusion I get for Crohn's every 6 weekds).  Could the sinus infections trigger the migranes.

Hi irish63, I haven't posted on here before but your post caught my eye as I am at my wits end with migraine and sinus trouble. I have suffered with migraine for years but the sinus problems are more recent. In my case each can trigger the other! I'm getting attacks of both lasting up to a week at a time twice each month at the moment and nothing seems to be helping - not for the sinuses anyway! Sorry, I'm not really being any help to you other than sympathizing! Not many peeps I know understand what we and lots of others are going through!

Koko08 thanks for replying, it really does suck. I am having the same problem as you Sinus is triggering the migrane. I am having about 1 bad migrane a week. It takes me 3 days to get over it. I am just about ready to chop my head off! The only relief I am getting is to get a shot at dr office. That seems to break the headache but it will be right back in a week. What helps yours?

Hey irish63, I'm with you in being near to chopping my head off :-( have been for a while! Do you manage to work? Nothing helps the sinus pain which is what is so frustrating! I use Zomig (zolmitriptan) to treat the migraine which more often than not works. My head is really hurting now, (shouldn't be on here) but I don't want to go to bed as it makes the sinus pain worse! Lately I am constantly having to cancel arrangements due to my head, and it makes it even more upsetting when some people just aren't very understanding, grrr!
