I'm ready to drop down to part time, like 2-3 days per week. I've pretty much had a "slight" migraine since January this year. Several times each month it gets real bad, lasting from 5-10 days each. My eyes have been swollen from the pressure in my head since January. So far Maxalt is the only thing that give me any relief, and it only lasts about 6 hours.
So, how do you cope with working and migraines? Do you ever feel like just taking a month off to take care of yourself and try to get your head back to normal? I'm starting to wonder if it'll ever go back to "normal" again.

It is really hard to work and feel the way we do, I was out on sick leave for 3 months when I 1st got sick but I also had stroke like symptoms and wasn't functioning very well. There are days that I wish I could crawl back into bed and hide under the covers but I also don't want to let my migraines win either. I need to work at least part time, and my boss said she would start me out slow lol I am now working 5 days a week which gets to me most days. My house is a mess because I am to tired to clean it. I so understand about wanting to get back to normal, up until March 24th of this year I was then one afternoon changed it all for me and I wish I could get back to where I was before that day.
