I am very glad to have found this forum. I was recently diagnosed with Migraine Associated Vertigo, or silent migraine after 7 years of misdiagnosis.  I do get headaches but my problem is mainly a lot of dizziness and visual issues.
My question is, have any of you had success with verapamil?  I started taking it a week and a half ago and the first few nights, I swore I could feel a difference immediatley. But by the third day all my symptoms were back. I don't take any other medications with it. So far, I still feel lousy every day. Especially when I wake up in the morning.  Right now we are having a lot of thunder storm activity and this is a huge trigger for me so I don't know if that is the reason for how I'm feeling despite being on the drug. Maybe it would be worse without it? I don't know. Should I hang in there with this medication a little longer and see if it makes a difference? I just got a little discouraged after what I thought might feel like a miracle and then to have it come back. Bummer.
Thanks for reading,

I was on Verapamil; my Dr. always likes me to try something for a couple of weeks, but he also says to call me next week if things haven't improved. It sounds to me that it helped a touch but then backed off; it may be a dosage change is needed.

Verapamil worked kinda sorta okay for me; but then I wasn't dizzy either. Give your Dr. a call and see what they say.

Good luck.
