Hi everyone, I get a headache everyday, normally not too severe, just enought to be annoying and excedrin usually takes the edge off, and then once or twice a month I get a migraine which I take a percocet for.  Well I just found out I am pregnant, and my first appointment with my doctor isn't for another 4 weeks.  What I was wondering is tylenol the only thing I'm allowed to take?  Thanks.

I forgot to say, my headaches have increased since being pregnant, as has my daily sensitivity to light and sound.

Yes tylenol is all you can take at this point. Your OB may allow you to take Lortab later in the pregnancy or even Nubain (which is safer). Usually you will have to suffer through the first 13 weeks, but after that there are more options.

Also, phenergan is a smooth muscle relaxant which relaxes the brain and it is not contraindicated in the first trimester. Ask your OB for some phenergan.

Hope this helps.
