I really need some help, I have had headaches ever since I can remember which is about the age of 2 and I am almost 25 now. The headaches have been almost non-stop and they vary in intensity from standard headaches which I am so used to now I just get on with things to really bad migraines which stop me doing anything.

I have had various different drugs from anti depressents to very strong pain killers but nothing seems to be doing the job. I have had a CAT scan which didnt show anything up (which was a big releaf), I have tried keeping notes of what I do, eat, drink and tried to find some link to them but to no avail and I stil get them.

My headaches can be so bad to stop me from sleeping or wakes me up, at the moment they are preventing me from sleeping and I feel very tired and quite upset by it all.

Its begining to be too much for me, it makes me cry every night with pain I just want to remove it. I am now at a complete loss of what to do but I cannot stand them anymore every day of my life, they are begining to rule and ruin my life. I have to spend more and more time of work sat down in a dark room or just away from all noise.

The drugs I have tried are:
Naproxin, Solpadol, Zomig, Migraleave, Tylenol, Naratriptan, Sumatriptan, Zolmitriptan, Duradrin, Amitriptyline, Sinequan, Propranolol, Verapamil, and Topamax. Maybe more but i've just lost count
Some of these slighty helpped but still getting constant headaches the one which helps the most is the Solpadol but I cannot and should not take it every 4 hours for ever.
I have also tried the no drug method and just tried to not take anything for the headaches for a while but this still didnt work for me.

Is there anything else anyone can suggest before I go insane with these constant and constantly increasing painful headaches please

hi tweedle, welcome to Healing Well, but sorry you have to be here at all!!!

could you tell us a little more about what happens when yu get these headaches, like where exactly it hurts, what parts of your face and head are affected, for example does anything happen with your eyes or nose???

How long they last for and how often you get them through the day, or do they last all day and you get episodes where they are worse??

sorry for so many questions, but it can help people give you some good advice if you give as much info as you can!!!

Take care

My headaches are almost constant, I think the last day I can remember that I didnt have a headache at all was about 3 months ago and I was without any headache for about half a day. I do get episodes when they worsen and the really bad pain can last up to about 4 months but when the pain gets worse is very random. Last time I had a big episode was around April where I had migraine for about 2 months constant.

The pain is mainly focused around my forhead and the left hand side of my head. The pain is also present behind my eyes.

When the pain increases I get tunnel vision, flashing dots in my eyes, my depth perseption is all messed up and I am too dizzy to move
