I've been getting migraine patterns since I was 13 years old (now 26). They are mostly black and gold flashing lights. Got my first migraine at 20 years old. Since then, had about 3 severe migraines/year, with about 2 or 3 mild to moderate migraines/month. In the past year, migraines have become more frequent. Been having at the very least mild head discomfort at least once per day, always on the left side. Migraine patterns are happening at least once per day (always on the left hand side of my peripheral vision, and migraines have always been one sided, on the left hand side).
My question: Given a family history of cranial blood vessel defects, am I right to be fairly concerned about the increase in patterns and headaches, or is all of this normal for migraine sufferers?
Thanks in advance for your replies!
