i'm a 41 year old female at her wits end,
I have had migraines for 20 yrs
I have been diognised with Migraine again but this feels like no other migraine i have ever had. it started about 2 years ago with numbness in my face and neck and pins and needles in my arms and legs. no pain in my head. this would last up to a week i was given pritzone 1-5 to try and it was ok for for a short while
I now have double vision not like an Aura you normally associate with migraine, sore neck and head numbness in face with freezing skin on numb area I get so confused and have difficulty thinking and forming sentences,I have fainted a few times (usually when id move or get up quickly)I have developed severe cramp in left leg when im having an attack. I have gone from a happy go lucky person till a horrible nasty grouch who no one wants to be around or a tearful wreck, this has been going on since november Im lucky if i get 24hrs without an attack.
my doctors been brilliant and keep trying different meds to control the migraines but nothing works. now im off work as i cant cope anymore with the pain
i have been referred to a neouroligist and I am waiting on an appointment any suggestions

psstttt any numbness is neurological. get a referall for a nearologist. as for suggestions, keep a diary. Errr not like us women, but list what you eat, drink, when it starts (whether migraine, numbness, vision) and see if you can find triggers. if long hair, try to cut it. I am 5ft flat and I had migraines like hell, friend suggested to cut my hair (my hair was past my rear). Well, I cut 12 inches and donated to Locks of Love (makes wigs). After finding triggers and cuttin hair, i made it to 3-4 migraines a month from my 18-20 a month. Then I got tumors, and had to get chemo therapy...started losing my hair. So I cut more and now have a "mom on the go to bottom of ear look" and boy I've only had 1 migraine in a few months now!

A month ago I had a TIA with the tingling in my right arm and my face drooped like belle's palsy. I have had 2 MRI's, a spinal and a brain scan. Everything came back fine. Numerous test with cardiologist, neurologist, and neurologist surgeon. Now, I am having symptoms of tention in the shoulders and upper neck, looking like I am anticipation of something happening and I can feel this coming on. My doctors don't think it's anything but I need some help if anyone could help me. The symptom's last 15 to 20 minutes. When the episodes happen I don't want to be around anyone and I look like I anticipation of something going to happen, and my thoughts are cloudy. The doctor's have ran every test on my heart to make sure it wasn't that and the test came back fine on my heart. I feel like the doctor's are over looking something and I really am tired of this happening and feeling this way. If anyone could suggest anything or help I would appreciate it.
