I am hoping someone might be able to shed some light on my symptoms which i am hoping are in some way linked to migraine to lessen my worries!
i have suffered from migraine since the age of 13 and as have grown older they have becomre more infrequent sometimes going years without having one.
the last migraine i had was in sept 2006 and it was most certainly the worst one i have ever experienced... i lost all feeling in the left side of my body and my arm and leg felt dead weight to me aswell as my inability to speak. it was very scary!
since then i have not suffered from a migraine but on Monday of this week i started to get a numb feeling down the whole left side of my body, the numbness and tingly sensation has stayed with me all week and is the same as i type this. My left arm feels detached from my body , it is a very weird feeling and even when i look at it my brain is not registering that it is my arm if that sounds at all understandable!
The reason i write this in a migraine forum is because the only way i can relate these symptoms in any way is like the migraine i had in 2006.
The doctor is worried and has asked that i have a CT scan which has now made me rather worried. i am a fit healthy young man (23 years old) i dont smoke, rarely drink and go to the gym at least 5 times a week. i just want this horrible feeling to go away but would really appreciate any advice you guys can give me,
