Okay, So just to give a little information to those of you who may be able to help me. I'm 17 years old, i have a 2 1/2 year old son and i live with my boyfriend and his family. I am graduated and attending some CNA classes. So, i want help with these god forbidden headaches/migraines i keep getting. I've had frequent headaches since i was 11 years old. I have not seen any kind of doctor other than my regular doctor and she put me on a few meds (have no idea what the names are) The one script worked very well but after a few months my body came immune to them. Same with Advil, Excedrin, alieve, and all that other good stuff. Now may i just add that i popped them like skittles. But anything i took for a period of time my body would eventually get immune to it so i've just had to suffer with this headaches for the last oh i dunno, 2 years. At first i thought it was because i drank way to much caffine, so i stopped then i started getting even more frequent headaches (here i was going through caffeine withdrawal) So i figured it was stress. I went about 2 weeks with no stress and i still kept getting them. Then i noticed that when i concentrated on something for a long period of time i got the worst headache of all. So i got glasses to improve my eyesight and i limited myself to concentrating on something so hard (video games, books, puzzles etc) That still didn't work. Well, my friend from my CNA classes said she has been getting frequent migraines and headaches also and she went to the ER and they said she had a few cysts on her brain. I'm not really sure if i have those. I would go to the hospital myself but i don't have any insurance as of yet. Does anyone have ANY suggestions for me? I would really appreciate it!

Shoobs....you need to go to your family doctor (general practitioner) and ask for a referral to a neurologist.

True. And write down anything you eat, drink, when migraines happen. Look for common factors aka "triggers"
