hi all
i'm new here, not sure if anyone can help so here goes-
i'm a 38 year old female, a little overweight, non smoker.
4 weeks ago i was taken to hospital with a possible stroke, i had slight numbness/ heavy feeling in head and in left arm and leg.
i had ct scan, mri scan, neck scan and heart scan and lots of blood tests.
it turned out that i had not had a stroke or a mini stroke, MS was also ruled out and my blood tests all turned out ok.
came home after a week and was told by the stroke doctor i am now being reffered to a neurologist. i had another appointment with the stoke doc monday and told him i feel no better whatsoever. he said he'll get my appointment rushed through as urgent.
my appointment is in 6 weeks, not sure i can wait that long still feeling like this.
my head feels like it belongs to someone else.
what should i do?

Have you mentioned to the people that set up the appointment that if there are any cancellations that you would come in when ever there was a cancellation?  Sometimes you can get in a lot faster (you might call first thing in the morning or at the end of the day - then that way they would know of the cancellation by then).

Also, my daughter was diagnosed with hemiplegic migraines (I don't know if that's what you have at all), but she was going numb completely on her left side.

I hope you get into the doctor soon and get answers.  Will be praying for you.

God bless you.
