I hope I am not doubling this post, if I am I apologize.

I have pressure on the top of my head and it is driving me nuts. My sinuses are a big problem, temple pain, nose stuffed, eyebrows hurt, etc, but the pain on the top of the head is the worst. My tmj has been really bad too. I am a clencher and have jaw arthritis. Does anyone else get the same pain on the to of the head? If so, what can you do for it?

thanks

Hello..
Is the pain all over (on the top) or is it more in one place? Is it left sided or right?

My head pain starts on the back right side of my head and moves up my head to my forehead and affects the entire right side. My head pain is stabbing and nerve pain.

Have you been seeing a doctor? Did they say what type of headaches you have?

I think I would try to take something for allergies first maybe and see what that does. If that doesnt work I would talk to your doctor about something headache specific.

Im sorry I dont have much else to say...maybe a little more info and I can make more suggestions.

Take care,

Sara

The doctors have said allergies and TMJ. Both can cause this. EVen my mom was at the er with severe top of the head pain and it was a sinus infection. I am always congested, so I guess that's it. I have have a brain MRI two years ago, and had this on and off then, and a tomograph of the skull in Dec, and all was clear, so I guess I just have to deal. Decongestants make me jittery and that is what I need, so...... Thanks for your reply.

I found that when I rub on this area, my nose gets stuffy and post nasal drip occurs, so I guess it is congestion. Eww!!! but at least I know what it is.
