Ever since these troubles with my head (fullness, ringing, white noise, ears 'close up' when noise is close, I also have visual snow in my eyes) got worse, my vision seems weird. I know it's normal to see after-images after looking at something, and then looking somewhere else, but it seems more so now...they last longer, bright light hurts my eyes more, my vision seems just worse.
They've said it may be an inner ear thing and to go to a balance specialist, but to first try a night guard (for clenching) b/c that may also be causing the head problems.
But what is this eye thing?

I do have anxiety/panic but this symptom seemed to coincide with when my head problems got worse.

And I posted this in the anxiety forum, but, this may or may not be related, I had an 'event' 2 nights ago where I felt hot all over and numb all over for a few seconds. It seemed to stem from my head. Though my MRI I had weeks ago was fine.

Any thoughts?

Just a thought, this could be 'aura' symptoms with migraine or indeed the 'aura' on its own! When my sister was a child she had the most awful migraines and one in particular that lasted over a month.

When the pain was bad she said she could see 'snow' falling in front of her eyes, we even used to ask her what the weather was like to see how bad she was feeling!! Her eyes were sensitive to light too and she was in a darkened room for about a month - aged 10years!!!

Pleased your MRI is ok, which is right if you have a primary headache like migraine. Please try not to worry about it!!

take care

Well my neurologist said a while ago, that I could have migraine symptoms w/out the migraine headache part. For real? I am skepticle of this though. If that were so, it'd be almost continuous.
I've had visual snow for a loooong time. Like everything you see is made up of dots, a smaller version of TV static.

Hi phixgrrrl,
Actually you could have the aura and other symptoms without the actual pain. It is possible that it could come and go and appear episodic like full blown migraines are for some people.

I've had the visual snow thing for many many years. The other stuff is newer, esp. the numbness, and sound sensitivity.
And if it were auras, then I'd have them 24/7...which seems unlikely.
