I know there are many of you who have daily migraines. I woke up with one this Sunday morning, I don't know how I'll make it through the church service but somehow I will.  They sometimes play the music so loud, or maybe that's just me.  The quitest sound to some sounds like a bomb to me when I have a migraine.   I have migraines almost everyday, at different levels that is, from extreme, to moderate, to light and annoying.

I've had a extreme migraine for 5 days now, nothing helps. I have firocett, and phenegran for the naseau. I'm thinking about stop taking those meds for a while and try to clean my system out because I think the meds have stopped working.  I know it will be hard but none of them are working right now anyway.  Have any of you ever just not taken anything for a while then started back up and it helped with your migraines?

I may not be able to give up the phenegran for the nauseau but otherwise it's worth a shot.

I have had brain surgery but that was seven years ago. I don't think the migraines are related, but they have become worse over the years and more frequent (everyday to 3-4 times a week).   I also had crainoplasty surgery this year to repair my skull from the brain surgery I had several years ago.  the surgery left a large indentation on my right temple so the surgeon went in a filled it in and repair so other places in my head.  I'm sure this hasn't helped but it's been 9 months since that surgery.  Anyway I hope you all have a pain free day, take care.

  Many Blessings,

  Mercyme

Wow, your story sounds all to familiar to me. I also am a migraine sufferer for the last 5 years. Dr. after Dr. same ole story, different meds everytime you turn around. Long story short , my lst battle was back in may of this yr. 2009, I was going on 2 full weeks of a migraine. Mine also were coming on more frequently and more intense each time. It landed me in the hospital for 1 week. I was blessed with a dr. that after 5 years and 88 pain scripts finally said after another MRI/ CT scan, I know what's wrong with you and I can fix it.

So, now I have a permanant Neuromodulation System implanted.I am only 6weeks out fromt he surgery and I am still experiencing some pain and have lots os questions for someone if I can find anyone that has had the same procedure done for migraines, but all the patient ambassadors have the systems for lower back pain and leg pain, none in the cervical area.

I do hope that you will be able to find some relief of your pain, trust me I know how crippling the pain can be, it's hard to function most days.Praying for you,

Hello Gabe,
Please post about your experience with this if you will, I know that there are some of us who are looking into this and any information you have will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
