Hello,

I’m usually in the Fibromyalgia area hanging out, but I do get migraines. My neuro just gave me a script for Frova and I wanted to know if anyone else uses this for migraines? I can’t believe they will only give me 9 a month. Don’t really know what is up with that. For my regular aches and pains of Fibro I take Percocet . I was also diagnosed with Lyme’s and was on a Rocephrine IV line for about 3 months during that time I had to go to the ER about 3-4 times for migraines. I’m off of the IV and I still get headaches but not nearly as bad. I also take topomax   25 mgs X1 at night.

My neuro gave me samples of relpac and one other one but they made my throat and chest feel so strange, I was so scared about that, I didn’t really notice any relief from the headache.

So if you don’t mind can you tell me what you using for migraines?

Ironically I am in Fibro section too hon. Frova is similar to Immatrex withouth the "shrinking head" feeling though. You can only have a limited amount or it becomes unhealthy. IF you have as many migraines as you say, you need a neurologist and to find your triggers. Perhaps a preventive medication like Topax could be good, however, that needs to be done decided by your doctors, not I.
