Okay here I go.....

Last February I had a terrible headache.  I was not prone to headaches and this one would not go away and was just horrible.  Then the headache turned to numbness and tenderness on the back of my head.

I went to every doctor known to man ... and guess what... I was pronounced healthy by a neurologist, eye doctor and allergist.  I had multiple tests ranging from regular CBC to C reactive Protein to Vitamin. B, C, D, Magnesium, and Calcium tests.

The only thing I know is I still have the numbness and I have nothing secondary!   I can move my neck and back with full range of motion.

I have been put on Topomax, Lyrica and they just make me tired and heavier.  The only thing that seems to work is pain pills, which just mask the pain.

Oh yeah, I went to a chiropractor who wanted to see me 4 days a week.

Is there anyone out there who understands or is going thru something similar?

Thank you

I'm in the same boat. . . . I have been having migraine headaches for the past 9 years and have gone to every doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist, you name it. The only answer I get is that its caused from stress. . . I believe it is, but now my muscles in my neck and top of my back are stuck in a stressed position. I cant stop it from happening. My back and top of my head are constantly numb and tingling. I have not found anything to help it for any length of time, I'll go get a massage and it helps for a couple of days, then back to the same old pain. The only thing I find that helps is pain medications, but as you said it only masks it, but at least its tolerable and you can have some sort of a life.

I have been looking everywhere for something to help. . . Let me know if you find anything.
