Okay well I used to suffer from Classic Migraines- Aura for thirty minutes, then the headache from hell. Well they suddenly ceased, I have stopped suffering from them for about 6 months and as my lifestyle did not change I am curious as to why they stopped. Migraines are hereditary in my family.Since they stopped I have suffered From visual snow (Which is worse at night) Heavy afterimages, and large glares and circular orbs around lights.
All my symptoms are visual only, I also suffer from Depersonalisation/Derealalisation.
I went to an eye exam and he said my eyes, optic nerve and condition of my eyes are fine.
I am terrified it is something worse, but can anybody please help me understand what is going on?
I have a poor diet, I don't eat mny vegetables and I spend alot of time on computers/watching tv. I have done for a long time, could this be the cause of a vitamin deficiency or something else.?
Help please! I'm terrfied It is life threatening!

Hi Ziggy,

I can't really give any medical advice, not being a doctor....but I can certainly share my own experiences!!

I have had the same thing happen to me. I've had periods when I had the optical effects only (aura), and I've had times when I had optical + pain, then times when I've experienced ONLY pain. These are all classified as migraines. As long as your migraines are just migraines, you have nothing to worry about, except for the way that migraines affect your quality of life.

But you should see a doctor to be evaluated for other medical conditions if you're really that worried!

Take care,

Well I don't seem to suffer from classical migraines anymore, is this a worry? Because my uncle suffered them as well, but he had different triggers and then he grew out of them. I think I may have Persistent Aura without migraine?
