This has been happening to me since I was 17, I had not gone to see the doctor because I did not think anything bad from it, and did not feel it for a while. Now Im 24 years old and its happening to me again, this sensation started once again and has been happening for about a year now. Its just a numnness and tingling that goes on for about 3-5 seconds its either on the back right side or back left side of my head. the sensation comes and fades away. I went to see my doctor and told me to get my eyes checked. I did and found out that I needed glasses. Got them. Now the sensation still happends. I get the sensation at least once a day if not more. Dr, said to go see him and he will send me to get a cat scan, but to be honest with you, I really dont want to go, Its real expensive, I know my health is important but another expense like that will really stress me out. I just want to know if this is something I should worry, and if anyone has these same sensations and went to the dr. what were the results.

Thank You,

I think of three things with what you described....
1) aura's which is a pre sign of a migraine or headache basically
2) neorological
3) neck misaligned and when you pop it back in place the sensation goes away
However, we are not doctors. I have medical training, but I am going on MY personal experience. I've had that with migraines (aura) as well as my neck being out of alignment.
