So sorry your daughter is having such a rough time, welcome to Healing Well. Does she have any other symptoms like blocked nose on the affected side, watering eye, droopy eye? Does she have these attacks at he same time every day, how long do the attacks last?

Sorry for all the questions but the answers may give me enough info to helps guide you to what may be going on and how best to deal with it! The best thing of course would be to see a neuro who is a headache specialist as he would be best placed to help!

Take care

Hi, does she also experience numbness? Her location of migraine concerns me. I work in the health field, and have migraines myself. Also, is the most pain in the same spot every time? There can be numerous of causes for migraines. Diet, Sun, nerves, human organs (such as heart, eyes, nose, etc), stress, allergies, some diseases. This list goes on and on. Have they done any blood work? MRI and CAT scan? Have they referred you to a neurologist yet for your daughter? I'd suggest going to a teaching hospital in the childrens center. A teaching hospital, wont give up on finding answers, and they are loving any chance to learn. You can also, by law, seek a second opinion with another doctor. In fact, you can have as many second opinions as you want.
