I've taken Botox for Migraines, and yes, for me, it worked wonders! Insurance doesn't cover it though, and it can be pricey (about $900 US)...and for the most theraputic use, you would want to see a neurologist, because, though plastic surgeons do well with it, many only use it for cosmetic applications, where as a neurologist use it in different areas and have been using it for other neurological issues (which for the life of me, I cannot recall as of now, due to a horrid headache right now)...
It may work for you, it may not...

Been there done that! I've suffered from severe Migrane headaches for well over 10 years. I had been to 6 different Neurologists and each one of them had given me different prevention pills to try and keep the headaches away but nothing worked and I was tired of putting all that medication in my body. Well, one day at work I was talking to a co-worker who had suffered for a long time from Migranes as well and had come across this all natural juice called. She had tried it, and after just a few short months was completely headache free. I was pretty hesitant at first myself, but at this point, I had sufferered for so long, that I figured I had nothing to lose. This juice comes from a desert cactus in Arizona and Mexico. Basically, what you do is start with a loading dose for 1 month which is 3 to 6 ounces a day just to get the toxins out of your body. I started to feel a lot better after just a few days and after a month on the juice, I felt like a totally new person! It has many more great health benefits too! It also helps with inflamation, reduces swelling in joints and muscles, helps with allergies, reduces stress, gives you more energy, and more. And the best part, you have a 60 day money back guarantee. If you don't like it, or you don't get results, you get your money back, no questions asked, it's that simple! I was impressed with the company so much, that I decided to become an affiliate and start selling it and telling people about it myself.

Awesome, sorry about the late reply, I mostly hang out in the crohns forum...
Let's see, my doctor has her own syringes...I now get an rx for the botox from my pharmacy (it was FDA approved on 10-15-2010). Hmm, she uses it in the temporalis areas, over the frontal bone, occipital areas, and even my trapezius.

Hope this helps

I am not sure what you are asking, but I've had botox about 4x...I looked around and here was more info: www.botoxmedical.com/Faq.aspx
My rx is good for the 200U bottle...
It can be a bit painful (the injections), but then again, my neurologist said I was more sensitive due to having a migraine at the time...I still don't know how people do this for cosmetic reasons...but the pain was worth the relief...if nothing else, there was some ease withing minutes due to the acupuncture type effects...
I am glad this works for me as I am a crohn's patient with liver disease so this in and of itself limits the type of medications I can take (like I cannot take any type of NSAID such as aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen, etc)
