I get these extreme migraines, like tonight i had the hiccups and i held my breath for like 10 seconds then as soon as i let it out instantly got a tight pulling sensation in my stomach, the a instant sweat a cramp in my left chest and straight up my neck into my head on the left side. I always have migraines really bad ones to where i cant speak and i goto the hospital and they almost od me to make them go away. well tonight it was an instant sharp pain in my head and it usually gradually gets worse but this went straight to worse i was in the shower and i was going to call 911 but i couldnt move it was so bad, i thought i was dying, really. I can take alot of pain, ive had mri on my head for this before and only thing they found was thickening mucus on my temporal lobe. but he said that was no big deal but its a really crappy hospital. they missed so many things on me and my gf so many time before. I just would like to know if its something to worry about, im only on vicodin, i took 3 7.5's which is alot for me and it hast touched it . since it started tonight its been lasting about 2 hours so far and there is a severe cramp in my left side of my neck like the cords and everything are hard as a rock. ive tried a warming pad, massaging them , ive been to chiropractor, ice pack , ib prophen everything, i dont know what it is or what to do to make it go away.

Hi Marc,

Welcome to Healing Well. Sorry to hear about these nasty headaches. Do you have any other symptoms like a watery eye or drooping of the eye? Is this pain on one side only maybe around and behind the eye? Does the affected eye become blood shot?

Sorry to ask so many questions but just trying to get a clearer picture about what is happening here!

take care

no, no droopy eye or pain in the eye. I usually have pain in my eyes and around when i get bad migraine but not this on not these ones that give me the pulling cramp pain in my stomach then moves immediatly to my chest then i break out in a bad hot sweat and then i get a direct cramping pain on the left side of my neck and i can feel it go into my head sits in the back left part of my head starts with a sudden sharp cramping pain so bad i couldnt even move to dial 911 i thought i was dying at first and thankfully i was in the shower i turned it hot hot and directed it to my left side and faintly took away some of the pain and finally it was enough to move to get out of the shower and it was still throbbing so bad i didnt know what to do i tried everything i would go out to the hospital but they always make it worse or almost od me on meds because it takes almost everything until od to make it go away. plus waiting in the waiting room is unbearable its a really bad hospital, its still throbbing but not quite as bad it will not be so bad for a while then hit hard for about 5 min then back off a little for about an hour and off and on over and over i cant hardly sleep or work or anything.
