Looking for anyone with experience with botox for headaches, now that FDA approved

I have had botox many times over several, several years; I can tell you that it works for me occasionally. While you can have the injections every few months, for me, it only works once a year or so. When it does work, it works well, but in my mind, it is highly dependent on the type of migraine you have.

It works wonders on occipital migraines as well as cervico-genic; but it does nothing for cluster or cluster feature migraine; at least not for me.

I just had it done yesterday...Woohoo! insurance covered it (finally)...I had to pay out of pocket works for me...but then again, with my other issues (I have crohn's disease and autoimmune liver disease), it is hard to find things that work...I am lucky that it DOES work for me, whereas other medications are not as effective...
