hi guys im a newbie here just seeing how many people are suffereing and coping with migraines!
for the past 3 months i have been getting daily migraines, just a headaches across the front of my head no other symptoms at the same time. sometimes i feel sick and dizzy but not at the same time, sometimes i loose my balance when walking and i get pins and needles in the right side of my hand,  no aura's etc or anything else at all. i have recetly seen a neurologist who carried out a full neuro exam and advised these are migraines only although he has arranged a ct just to make sure. ive recentely started propanalol 20mg per day which were working for a week or so no headaches at all! then the last couple of days they have come back worse than ever nothing seems to get rid of them.not sure if this is connected either but every 6 months my eye sight is changing by -.50 in both eyes but again they have said nothing is clearly wrong here. the only medication i am taking is femulen and propanalol, i also suffer from M.E but i dont have many symptoms anymore. im just worried it could be something more severe as my uncle died last year of a brain tumour although he had no symptoms whatsoever until the last couple of months. any advise/ comments would be great thank you!

Hi Natalie and welcome to healing well. I have chronic daily headaches as well as suffer from migraines. I have been fortunate enough that my meds are keeping the head pain at bay right now. I don't have much to offer as far as if they have anything to do with your eyesight changing, but I did want to welcome you. Hopefully someone will be by that can offer more info.
Gentle Hugs,

Sounds like you're going through the same thing my wife is going through.  The Dr's classified them as rebound migraines which could be due to the medication.  She was taking fioricet and was going to the ER to get Dilaudid which from my understanding are two big coulprits of rebound headaches/migraines.  It wouldn't hurt to ask your Dr. about the rebound headaches/migraines.  Good luck.

My girlfriend has also been suffering from daily migraines for quite a long time, for half a year now. They seem to be really bad for she often passes out during the worst part of the headache. She sometimes vomits too and after a migraine she is usually nauseous for the rest of the day and that affects her eating. She has lost a lot of weight in these past few months because she has not been eating well. She is often dizzy and there are days when she can't even get out of the bed after a migraine because she feels so dizzy that if she tries to get up let alone walk she will faint.
She is barely able to sleep because of all that pain and naturally she is very tired all the time. I can see this is driving her crazy and it makes me feel really bad to see her crying because she is so exhausted.
She has been seeing her neurologist since this started and they have done all the tests that can be done. They have tried all kinds of medications and everything but so far none of them has really helped her. Is there anything I can do for her? I'm worried!

(Sorry English is not my native language.)
