My wonderful dog was hit by a car late on friday night in front of my home.  I cried very hard for very long even crying myself to sleep.  I am a 51 year old woman in good health.  The headache came on like a storm on the top of my head I even grabbed and held my on the onset.  It now 4 days and several Bayer later, it presist on the right side of my head including my right eye.  When I walk I feel pressure with every step.  When I move my head I feel like something is moving.  Is this normal for a stress headache brought on from emotion? confused

HAve you gone to a doctor yet to get examined from the car accident may have a pinch nerve or somthing in there, i was in one a about 13 yrs ago and that caused me to have neck issues such as arthits when i was very young. Have you every experienced Headaches before? Since this was your first post on here it doesnt give much to go on.
Personally i have migraine headaches that cause my whole right side of face including eye and temple to swell but this is not a new thing for me i have been dealing with it for 3 yrs now and it was not a over night thing i have had headaches since a teen.

Dear Kikkimom,
I was not in an accident, I witnessed my dog being hit by a car in front of my home. I have not been to a doctor yet. Headache came on very suddenly while crying about my dog. Still very severe. Never headaches before. This wasthe worst headache I have ever had.

Migraines headaches can last for days and are sometimes triggered by stress.
That being said, considering that you have no history of this type of pain, you really should to go see a doctor to be evaluated.
