I am going emotionally crazy.  My symptoms started 10 days ago with a trip to the ER.  I was sitting at home watching t.v. and all of a sudden I had this burning sensation on the left side of my face around my eye.  My eye also burned and it felt like I was going to pass out.  I then kicked into panic mode.  My whole body flushed with heat and I was tingling.  Ever since, I have been having these episodes amost daily.  Each time I get the heat/prickly left eye/head sensation I feel like I am going to pass out.  Sometimes the tingling starts in the arm and it works up to my head.  Bottom line I feel like am going crazy.  My chest is always tight!  I am terrified that I am going to have a stroke.  I went to the hospital twice and they were not concerned.  I went to my doctor and she said it sounds like an aura migraine (without the migraine pain). I just had some blood work today.  The anxiety and head confusion is terrible and I am so scared this burnig feeling around me eye will happen again.  It makes my how body flush...sorry to ramble..but does this sound like an aura silent migraine?

You could be experiencing aura symptoms. Have you ever had migraines before? Do you have any close relatives with migraine? My migraines do not always include pain and my aura symptoms include numbness, light and sound sensitivity, lowered level or loss of consciousness, and confusion. When these first started I had a great deal of anxiety because I had no idea what was happening to my body and that panic had it's own symptoms.........racing heart, shaking etc... Now I try as best I can to remain calm and find a dark, quiet space where I can lay down and listen to the tv or radio and let it pass. It is however a good idea to rule out any other issues with your neurological or cardiovascular symptom. For me migraine was a rule-out diagnosis.

Thank you Jewishmother. I have a doctor's appointment next week. I had a trip to the ER this time my right eye felt like it was sagging but it wasn't and my right side face temple was numb and tingling. It's been two months of sheer madness. The ER doctor said "I don't think it's the brain but you need a MRI." So, I am assuming he is saying he does not think it is a stroke/tia. I just hate feeling this way.

If this might be an aura symptom of migraine, I think it is best for you to verify this condition to your doctor. If you can’t identify the cause of your symptoms you will just worry and this can lead to your emotional distress that can eventually trigger your symptom again. I too experienced migraine, and it was so painful that I can’t move. I used to take pain relievers when migraine strikes me. But in the long run, pain relievers are not helpful already. So I tried another alternative way through the energy healing. I’m thrilled at the treatment I’ve received with Paul (YM practitioner) when he did the corrections to me using the Yuen method. Through this unique approach, he was able to identify the causes of my discomfort and gave me a complete new insight into the weaker areas of my body. After the session, amazingly I never experience pain and all the issues have gone.
