I'm really not sure how normal this is seeing as how I've always had migraines but never like this. It seems to sit on the left side of my head, typically starting around the lower part of my neck just behind the ear and works its way up to just behind the left ear on the same side. It's to the point that it often comes and goes and sometimes just stays and is really painful and that side of my head is sensitive. Whenever I lay down at night if I try to lay on that side I get a sharp stabbing pain and am forced to roll over or adjust the position of my head to a really odd angle for it to go away. I was wondering however, that since my tonsils have been severely swollen (and probably need taken out since they restrict my breathing pretty bad) if its not just my neck muscles straining themselves and causing this pain. I'm not any more photo-sensitive than normal and still go about my day. I was taking Tylenol for awhile there and it does work for about 6 hrs before having to re-dose so I gave up taking it since its not good for you. Any other idea's as to what it could be or what's causing this?
