So.........have had my migraines since 1980 but only 2 or 3 times a month but in November 2008 they began daily and could not find the reason why. At the same time that the daily migraines started my asthma disappeared............I assumed my asthma was better because the last surviving cat in the house died and was not replaced - was not aware I had become so allergic! We used to joke that the daily migraines were because the cat had died.......now I think it is not a joking matter. We are up north visiting my son and his family and they have cats and my allergies are horrible and my breathing is bad but no migraines for the last 2 days which is a record. So, which medical condition would you choose? Daily migraines consisting of stroke-like aura and sometimes pain or asthma that is not responsive to regular asthma meds or inhalers and so would have to do a lot of steroids..............

Hi Jewishmother,

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. I think you should have both conditions looked into as they both need stabalising, because you have a rotten choice which ever way you go, and they both impact on your day to day living and affect your quality of life.

All the best with this, take care

Ann
