Extreme headache + paralysis while sleeping

Hi everyone. I have been having some sort of problem. I can remember this happening since I was in college (I am 25 now). It occurs only right before I go to sleep. I close my eyes and this extreme migraine/headache comes over my head (a burning feeling.) It quickly overtakes my head and I am unable to open my eyes. Then it spreads throughout my body making it paralyzed and I am unable to break from the headache. This only lasts for probably 10-15 seconds and sometimes reoccurs on the same night in just a minute or two. I feel this might be triggered from my lack of sleep or when I am really tired - but it never occurs when I am awake or walking around. Not sure what kind of problem this is, and hope someone can leave me with some insight. I am going to talk to my PCP soon.
