I have had a headache for 7 days now. It hasnt left me just easies up then hits me like bricks. I noticed today that if my back was being rubbed that it calmed it down. But that it comes back shortly after. Also the way I sit seems to make it feel like its pulling my sinuses tight. I can breath fine no drainage but bad pressure. When I change my postion it stops. Please help me... Im 27 Female I do have migraines but i can always get rid of them with otc meds.

When your back gets rubbed, it probably eases up the tension in your upper trapezius muscles (between the neck and shoulders) right? If your neck gets a good deep message does this help at all? If this is the case I would look into trigger point physical therapy.

Have you tried triptans (eg imitrex) for a quick fix?

How often do you take OTC meds?

Does the pressue get better or worse when you lay down?
