Approx 7 weeks ago, I started getting severe pain in my legs after a particularly tough football training session. I thought it was just muscle ache but the pain persisted and increased to the point where I was often rolling around in agony because of the pain. I then developed, approximately 2 and a half weeks ago, constant severe headaches along with facial numbness down the centre of my face and slight blurred/double vision when looking to the right. This proceeded to get worse and worse until I was finally admitted to hospital. They did lots of tests, including blood and urine tests, an x ray, a CT scan, an ultrasound, a lumbar puncture and an MRI scan. Everything came back clear apart from the MRI showing possible swelling in my face. They put this down to sinusitis which they gave me a course of antibiotics for. These didn't help at all. I have been to an ENT specialist today and he has said that I have no signs of sinusitis. So now I'm back to square one and in more pain than ever! Can anyone help me please?
