A team of researchers in the Centre for Research in Family Health (CRFH) at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, have developed an iPhone headache diary app. This will be a component of a treatment intervention to help adolescents and young adults deal with their pain.
The diary is a method for participants to keep track of their headaches whenever they happen. The app includes items on headache features (intensity,
location, duration, symptoms), symptoms before headaches, and headache triggers. In addition, the diary can be filled out on a daily basis to asses what things might be related to causing a headache to start (including stress levels, sleep quality and duration, mood). The diary also shows helpful reports that can help you to identify trends related to your pain.

Good luck to all headache sufferers!
