Hi there! I am a Newbie to the forum! My Name is Jamie, I am a 33 yr old single mother of 2 and I have been suffering from Mirgraines for I cant tell you how long now and they have been getting worse year after year! I have been on so many different kinds of Meds with pretty much no relief, been put in hospital only to be discharged and leave the hospital with a migraine and go home a cry because I dont know what to do. Back in Nov was a turning point I was in the hospital for 3 days on dilaudid, adivan, topimax, neurontin, and honestly I cant tell you what else because I was so medicated I didnt even know my name for those days and a few days after.  I didnt want to live like that, Watching my boys grow means so much more to me than being doped up, I want to enjoy being around and doing thing with them.  So in July I FINALLY got my Dr to send me to a Neuro!  I have been getting nerve blocks in my neck and I have been cut completely off caffeine (which I drank alot of)  I am on 400mg topimax  150mg effexor  20mg adderall 10 to 30 mg of flexeril I still get slight headaches but nothing like I was. and if I miss a dose I can tell the migraine are coming back!  Plus to boot I have so far lost 30lbs Yay!!

So I was just wondering I havent seen that anyone one was on this high a dose of topimax, has anyone been on this high a dose or if you have have you got any relief from it?
